Topsy
Professional amateur musician, sound maker.
Almost composer (in Danish Kompo-næsten-nist)
Also actor, singer and philosopher in his own way.
I'm 76 years of age, and my sketch-sound-studio equipment is contained in my livingroom.
But nowadays when I say, I beside my real guitar's, amp's & mixer also own 140 other instruments,
people go "oh, you must live in a big house" I go "no, they are all in my (two) lap-top's. I've been into
sampled sound's since CD time and such thing's as Virtual Instruments, has certainly come a long,
long way in terms of sound-quality, play-ability and loading time. A lot of small firms pop up and produce
excellent instruments for not too much money (but again in this field as in so many other, what you pay
for is what you get), AND in these times, when "everybody" is so scared to Death about climate-heating,
its nice to have a hobby that only requires very little Voltage - BOTH in the using AND in the producing.
