One of the best!
This marimba has got to be one of the best and most inspiring instruments on PB. Not only is is well recorded and offers basic marimba sounds, it's also got swarms, which take the instrument to a whole new level. I liked the thoughtful inclusion of the Low Cut button. While it's great to have the full spectrum, the first thing that struck me after playing for a few minutes was that it would need to be high passed to sit nicely in a mix. I really can't think of anything that would make this instrument better. It's well recorded, perfectly played, highly inspiring, and super useful. Bravo!
So much on offer!
This library has so much to offer and has so many diverse and inspiring sounds! The addition of effects to a sample library takes it to the next level. It's so much more than just a simple piano. The subtle distortion and rhythmically timed delays tug at your sleeve and beg you to explore dark tunnels. There's so many opportunities to customize each sound to your liking. I found I wasn't a huge fan of the distortion, for instance, but it's super easy to tailor the sound to your own preferences. I have no voice but to give this library a perfect score!!
Whoa! The ultimate music box on PB!
Everything about this library is incredible. It starts with an immaculately sampled music box, but what really takes it tot he next level is the amazing GUI which offers not only chorus, delay, and reverb, but also gives the user access to the sample processed through various pedals and other external gear. This library is simply awesome!
Pure fun
It's honestly a crying shame that I can only give this library five stars for the interface. Obolig has shown us once again that he's able to do absolutely next level stuff with his interface programming. Keeping this a secret for the past few weeks has been an enormous challenge, and more hours than I care to admit have been spent playing this instrument... but not really playing it.
