This feels like an organ and cello put into one instrument, reminds me of the japanese violin reiteration which can be played like keys.
every note does have its own character, with harmonics swelling and fading back into the main body. but thats definitely done well enough to sound nice!i dont know what instrument this is and im amazed that such a sound can come from resonating box, again its a string instrument but feels a distant relative of an organ
