Michelle Packman
Michelle is a producer/composer with a heavy background in string performance. She has a BM in cello performance from Cole Conservatory at Cal State Long Beach and an Artist Diploma in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music.. She combines playing intimate live strings with libraries to produce her music. Her favorite mics for recording strings are all things Microtech Gefell. 300 M, UM 92.1S, UM 900 As a cellist, she has recorded for Bleeding Fingers with composers Hans Zimmer, Anze Rozman, and later on for her own partner, Tuomas Norjanen. She has recorded for League of Legends, Inon Zur, and on the pop side of things, Camila Cabello, 5 Seconds of Summer. She has performed live with Eminem, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Troye Sivan, Ava Max, to name a few. She can also play violin and viola and has arranged strings for numerous clients through SoundBetter. As a composer, she has written for libraries like APM and Discovery, and has written cues for motion pictures. She hopes to expand more into composition so she can stay in her cave. Less makeup, more plugins. Yay synths.

I've been looking for this sound for years.
I've searched so long for this piano sound, this might be my favorite piano VST. I was looking for something warm, with that soulful x-factor, but with clear and confident transients. It comes with a super manageable, simple UI. Such a beautiful, honest tone. Mixes with live strings well because it is so clear in the low end. I love to have a piano with complexity in tone that doesn't put mud in the mix. Really, really happy with this. Thank you Richard for your hard work and for putting your heart into this, it really comes through.
