Beautifully captures the mystery of the classical Chinese instruments
This is a very creative take on multiple Chinese classical instruments with so many options and combinations to explore. The words that I would use to describe it are inspirational and thought-provoking. I'm also learning a lot pouring over your DS preset file. :)
I'm very familiar with erhu and was considering attempting a sampling of my daughter's erhu, but I'm not familiar with the technical details of the Guzheng. I was wondering about the octave break from D3 to D#3 (which is in the sample files for sure). Is that a characteristic of the tuning that you used? Also, slightly unusual to start the erhu at C when it's bass note is D? (These are not criticisms in any way; your take is clearly abstracted from the real instruments.)
Overall, I love this pack and would find it to be a very useful creative tool.
