The story
So I looked around the house to see what I could sample that I could get a tuned instrument from.
I remembered the Rusty Gate contest and how people managed to get beautiful pads from that harsh sound so, I found my target. My handheld Vax car hoover lol.
I sampled the sound then put it in RX7 elements and messed around with the sound.
As you know how a hoover sounds, I was pretty surprised at the beautiful sound I managed to get.

The Vacuum That Hoovered Up My Heart
This was one of the first packs I downloaded from Pianobook, and it changed my life. It is the most gorgeous, pure, almost haunting sound that brings so much emotion to any project. Still my go-to years later!
I wish all vacuums sounded like that!
The worst thing about this instrument that there is a bad clickly sample right in the beginning of each sample, which gets caught by the delay and repeats it self a couple of times. This can be easily fix by adjusting the attack juuuust a tiny but, but you have to do it manualy because there is no GUI to help you do it quickly.
I'd also prefer to see a more moody wallpaper, just for the sake of matching the feeling I got while playing. I also wish that there was at least 2 dynamic layers to crossfade with the modwheel, but that would really make it a premium instrument in my opinion.
Nice pad sound made from a vacuum!
Nice pad sound. I can't believe this was made out of a vacuum. Drown this sound in reverb or add some FX to it. Can work really well as a standalone or layered with other sounds . Enjoy!
A very mellow pad
This is a simple library which offers up a very simple and very mellow pad. It is well recorded and edited, and if you're looking for a nondescript pad to fill in some space, this is the ticket. Doesn't do a lot, but it's great at what it does!
Some sample editing issues but overall nice warm pad
This is a pretty nice and colorful pad. It has such nice variation and modulation that keeps it pretty interesting. The thing is we have so many amazing pads on pianobook, this one just douser inspire me that much. There is also a click at the beginning of the samples that can be fixed by diving under the hood but this is just an extra step and maybe some beginners dont know how to go under the hood in kontakt yet. This is a good sounding pad but it just doesn't inspire me like some others on the site. The sound source is very unique and creative though
