I got a djembe from my sister as a birthday present, and I wanted to share its sounds as a library.
I recorded 6 samples per note using my beloved Aston Origin microphone. For the highest sounds, I also used a frog guiro, which was another birthday present from my sister.
To create a little atmosphere, I added storm sounds “hidden” on the C2 and D2 notes. These sounds were made using a broken kick drum head and its plastic bag.
