The story
This is a lamp by IKEA called Jakobsbyn. It’s placed over our dinner table. Corona forced me to work from home and so our dinner table had to move and make place for my iMac. Unfortunately the lamp is placed quite low and close the my had, when I sit in front of my Mac. I banged my head countless times the last couple of weeks. It did hurt a little bit but also sounded quite nice. So this week I finally brought a AKG C414 XLS from my studio and sampled the lamp.

A great instrument, reliable to brighten the day
This has such a rich and inspiring sound, it opens without closing. It's more like a trusted friend, than an instrument or group of sounds. It's an invitation to search for and enjoy secret places, with the essence of music.
A real instrument
I used this instrument in this Lofi track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G60wJw9UuBg I think it fits the mood perfectly and to me, this sounds like a real instrument, with rich harmonics and a full spectrum. I absolutely love it in this context.
The review title below this one sums it up PERFECTLY
A great story behind this library and a great sound since you open it up. Plenty of bells like sounds that have that slight hollow textures that is very late 1980s. This is the perfect library for adding organic texture to your music.
Wow, really nice
I honestly love this sound, its so chimey but also has some nice midrange and body. Its mellow but also cuts through in the highs. The mid range kind of transient thump gives it a really nice character. I think this would sound so awesome in house music, particularly organic house and progressive house. I think this instrument sounds super great throughout the whole range. Its always nice to have more dynamic layers and round robins but I'm still pretty in love with this sound and plan to use it soon.
