The story
I recorded all kinds of sounds from my car with a Shure MV88 stereo condensor mic and my I phone. I actually really like that mic for quick and easy field recording. I recorded doors and hood slamming, windows, dashboard, glove compartment closing, the heat blowing, blinkers, the sunroof, hubcaps , the seats and on the floor near the pedals ( for the kick!). I even recorded the horn, time stretched and made a cool pad. I kept the “drum” sounds dry so you can season to your own taste. Oh yeah, I also included an Arp which was fun for creating random and interesting patterns. Enjoy the drive 🙂

Interesting, easy to use set of hits!
Another interesting set of drums! Almost all the keys are assigned, and very playable. Not like cinematic drums, but more subtle taste of collections.
I Absolutely Love These Sounds!
The Positive:
I haven't found any issues with the sound itself, they are interesting and new and I really (Really!) like them. I find them very inspiring, as someone who struggle with the standard drum sounds it is a nice way to get percussion into the mix (To clarify, there are some very much drum sounding, sounds, they just have extra flair, being an unconventional Instrument). The GUI itself is fine, I don't see any issues with it nor do I have any ideas for improvement, I would say just right for the instrumentThe Negative:
To start with I should add that I've only used some of the sounds in a piece, though I have listened to all of them (whilst searching for a fitting sound). The only issue I've found so far is the timing of one single key, A2 is about 18 ms to slow for my taste. Not saying it's the only one, but if there are more, then I haven't found them yet. To me, pulling out the sound to a separate track and adjusting the delay with -18ms is well worth the effort to use this instrument, but it does reduce the playability just a littleConclusion:
I love it, minor timing issue (at least one), but I can see this being my go to sound for percussion <3Don't hit your car!
Joshua already hit his so you don't have to do it yourself. It's a very interesting library, though I find the samples cutting of more quickly that I usually like. There is also an "arpeggiator" for the percussion that you might find handy.
Weirdly enough you will find a pad included too, which is nice and vibey, but it's not something trully special. It is also a concern when it comes to actually organizing your instruments based on the vibe or the kind of instrument. Where should I put this, in a percussion folder or in a pad one?
OCD intensifies."Concrete" micro percussion kit
An interesting selection of short sounds with a wide variety of timbres. I actually really liked the arpeggiated version for creating interesting poly rhythms and the car horn pad is surprisingly good!
Fun Found Sound Concept!
I love this found sound concept! The sounds are well recorded and useful. Some samples aren't edited very tightly, so parts play slightly out of time until you go in and adjust the start times, but it's not a huge deal. A very fun sample pack indeed!
