Awesome ambience choices!
From the stunning GUI design, to the amount of soundscape options, this is a very good example of how to make a near-perfect instrument. All it needs is some minor white noise treatment, and then it would be absolutely perfect!
A beautifully sounding guitar
This is one of my favourite Pianobook instruments, I instantly fell in love with it. Its name suggests usability for soundscapes, but it can be used for creating melody lines too, with a clean not distorted but reverby guitar sound. The presets are instantly usable, no need for tweaking. Also, the GUI is beautiful, albeit simple.
Obviously pro level guitar library
Beautifully recorded electric guitar with a choice of 8 reverbs. There are two velocity layers, and every note over a very wide range was sampled separately. There are surprisingly no round robins, but this library sounds totally pro, and GUI looks totally pro. I sort of question using the entire GUI space which has a gorgeous design to allow the selection of reverb IR and then a single knob for reverb amount, but it seems to work well though. Including attack and release controls might have opened some additional possibilities for sound design, but honestly, the instrument is really inspiring and playable just like it is. Fantastic work!
Inspiring sound and evocative GUI
This guitar library is a must-have from pianobook. Starting from a quality guitar sample, each of the "scenes" offers a unique sound: certainly a different convolution reverb, not sure what else might change? The pictograms are so much more evocative than the kinds of preset names we're used to - you immediately want to click on each one.
As for those calling for more features or round robins, one can easily imagine this boutique company producing a "pro" version leaving this as a teaser.
Really nice
Surprisingly nice. Ive not heard too many decent sounding guitar libraries, and while this perhaps lacks some realism, its got a nice bell tone making it sound great when played like a piano. Recommended!
