The story
I sampled an Arturia Drumbrute Impact through a Vermona Retroverb Lancet and Retrobrute was born.The RetroBrute samples are dirty, filtered and noisy. Likely usage IDM, Grime, Gabber and dubstep. The instrument has 7 sets:
c0 – Clean drums
c1 – Filtered drums
c2 – Spring verb drums
c3 – Dirt verb drums
c4 – Double dirt drums
c5 – Grime drums
c6 – Long dirt
You can use your mod wheel to mess with the filter while playing.

Neat little beatmaker
Always loved the sound of the drumbrute. It is great to see so many variations of it mapped in a single plugin. The grime kit especially is going to get tons of use. The interface is easy to read for me, but the black and blue could be hard for some maybe.
I would have loved to see a global delay and reverb to go along with the filter, but that's just my opinion. Well done!
Didn't expect a drum machine on pianobook!
As the title says, I didn't expect to find a drum machine on pianobook, but here I am and I'm not dissapointed. Sounds cool, even though I'm not that into e-drums. The UI looks really cool! Well done, maybe add a reverb knob the rest of the effects are all incorporated in the large amount of samples you've provided with this pack. Well done!
An entertaining kit
A lovely and simple pack with a nice interface!
The sounds are quite fun and can become very useful in moments related to classic console games.
Nice Selection of sets
A great little selection of drum samples. The Spring verb drums were my favourite. I like the layout of the notes along the keyboard.

These drums are short and sweet but they pack quite a punch. Retrobrute is an ideal name for them!
