The story
My brother (the R.R. in the name is his initials) gave me this mini Djembe drum a few years back and it was the inspiration for this sample pack. I recorded using a condenser mic at the head of the drum and a cardioid mic at the foot of the drum. After recording the Djembe I just grabbed whatever else that was in my studio that would make a good drum sound. Using my hands as well as a few different drumsticks.
I have always loved playing hand drums. There’s a simplicity to them that just resonates in the heart. Hopefully you can share some of that joy!

A great percussion pack!
One of the best free percussion packs I have tried, without a doubt. The sounds were recorded with a very good quality. The wide range of keys that can be played is a big plus, as well as the division into four different groups.
The interface is quite beautiful, simple, premium looking; in fact, it looks like it's a paid product. I love that you have combined several shades of brown.
I think it would have been great if you had added a few more controls, specifically one for varying lowpass and one for tone. That pair of controls would have made the pack much more versatile.
Clean Sounds
Some very nice, clean one shot hits in here.
Velocity only seems to affect the volume of the sample, it would have been great to have a few softer hits in here too.
