One of the most common combination of instruments in documentaries is piano+strings. Since I didnt have a piano
or string sample of my own I decided to substitute piano for 3 samples of my own: Allen wrenches,(4 velocities) Door Bell (4 velocities) and Glass Dream cup (2 velocities exteded to 4) (libraries I already made for
decent sampler). I used
a synth (Modified Vital preset with 4 velocities, changing from low volume to high volume and low frequencies to complete frequenies. to create the strings and processed everything at 4 velocities. The samples were already at 4 velocities except one (Glass Dream) so I exteded the range to 4, The result was very musical. I ended with my own personal pluck (glass and metal and strings combination. Check out the demo here:
