The story
This is my first sample pack, made for my one of my modules in university. Everything you hear has been recorded on an upright, programmed and designed by yours truly. I have also wanted to experience creating a sample pack, and I have learned ALOT to say the least.
I can also use my samples to help with my composing for my dissertation. It’s a fully audio experience, along with a dialogue cast and foley. Think of a story book, come to life through speakers. if you are interested, you can see more on our instagram @the_first_fyre_film and the demo found on our Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@thefirstfyrefilm980
While this my first, it won’t be my last, Version 2 to come out in the future.

A fantastic first sample pack
Great work, creating your first sample library is always a win! I love the interface, it draws you in to the instrument, with the simple controls creating an easy to use interface and the names like "A Little Bit of Magic" instead of reverb adding to the character. Each of the layers sound intriguing and I definitely can see myself using the "Really Weird" one with some delay for an interesting sound.
There are some issues to look at for next time. Some of the loops in your drones group seem to click when you release the key, possibly due to a fast release ADSR or because the loop points might not be in the best spot. Also, it would be great to have the interface open with one of the sliders up, just so a sound can be played straight away without touching any controls.
Great work and happy sampling!
Lots of potential if you're willing to edit
EDIT
I was having some tuning issues and realized in the group "RR3 Original" "F-sharp 3 RR3 Long V4.aif" has it's root accidentally set to G#2, so the 3 keys it's mapped to will play out of tune every few times.
I haven't checked them all, but I'll report back if I notice any others.
-----If I wanted a pristine multi-sampled library there's plenty available, but I tend to gravitate towards more quirky/characterful ones on Pianobook.
This one is larger in size, and has more GUI options than most, but the interface doesn't quite do it justice and I found better resets after editing the patch. Most of the interface is unused space, so making it smaller, or adding more options would be nice.
Personally, I'd like if the pad/drone could be make louder, and had individual volumes. Octave +/- controls for the layers including the done would add a lot of versatility, as would panning and basic hp/lp.
Adding some of Kontakt's built in effects is worth experimenting with.
I noticed some clicks when playing, but wasn't able to track it down.
Joyfully Just a Piano
I really like this. The sound is good, the GUI is clear (I see the point other reviewers have made about the faders being all down as default but I guess that invites you to start from scratch) and it is well put together. Well done.
A basic piano for kontakt 7 only
it has a lot to offer in terms of variety the "original" piano has 4 velocity layers. sound great but would have loved to seem more basic controls on the perf view for example adsr. Not a big issue tho hence the good review.
