The story
I was browsing the internet archive when I came across a series of recorded duets. The documentation for these suggested that they were recorded in the 1920’s to be used in churches. At the time i was looking for some ideas for a analog horror styled audio demo and these recordings seemed perfect. I sampled a single held note for the vocal aspect and I used the natural noise of the recording to create a tone sample. With a little bit of reverb I feel like it came out very spooky. Iv attached the demo I created for example.

Very Novel Concept
As an Analog Horror fan & Musician this instrument fits very well for me & has some spawned some unique ideas I could take.
The sample is haunting & very clear but it does lack a long sustain it stops & picks up, again, the GUI serves its purpose I think it's alright. I love the options to either hear the sample with or without the noise & the customisation of the types of reverb.
Would love to see this concept grow & find its spot in this sample library, if you're planning a 2nd version of this concept with a knobs to customise the warpness of the vocals, different voice samples played randomly &/or have them in different presets, long & stable sustains, a better GUI, & more features that improves things of the original.
If you love analog horror & love to craft something unique sounds inspired by that niece, this sampled instrument is for you.
Love this
Extremely creepy, already found a few cool uses for it. Thanks!
Surreal gem
I'm not a pro anything, so I leave technical commentary for those geeks who know their shit. I've gone through and tested countless plugins during my 30 or so years of creating silly little projects, and this is easily one of the most interesting and useful weird sounds I've ever found. You might a bizarre genius, a Finnish horror nerd salutes you. I might even try that demo sub thingy soon.
