The story
This is my very first sampled instrument which I recorded when I was in a forest playground with my children.
There were metallic plates attached to wooden poles and a stick to make music. I could not resist and recorded the sound with my phone.
Although this is not a sampled piano, I hope the piano book community will appreciate this special sound when used as a sample instrument.
Now I finally have got Kontakt I will see if I can make a sampled instrument of my Yamaha U1…
The felt sound is quite beautiful. But that is another project!

Cold bells for the creeps
This barebones patch features a very dark, chilling bell mallet sound. They are very wet by default, and the ambience feels totally like it could have been recorded in a ice cavern full of stalactites. The notes on the high register to me sound like dropplets of some kind! It would have been great if the ambience and wetness was controllable, though out of the box the sound is great.
Interesting Wet sound
This sound is pretty interesting. I think it would sound really nice with delay. It kind of resembles a metallic bell but its pretty soft and tonal. I can see this working well in hip hop and electronic music. It would have been nice to have reverb control to get a drier sound if we want but good job for a first attempt at sampling. It also might be really cool to reverse this sample
Dark and haunting bells
This sample pack certainly has a unique and dark voice. The sample was processed with lots of reverb, which limits its usefulness. Even so, I'm sure some will find it useful and enjoyable.
