The story

I managed to get my hands on an old, somewhat functional positive organ. I fell in love with its airy, intimate, and quirky tone. The organ was so out of tune that by playing a C, it’s an almost perfectly in tune B the semitone below.
It’s a perfect contrast to its larger church counterparts.
Enjoy. :]

  • Very interesting concept and character

Interesting! Very nicely captured windy-deep-textured library. I think I will be using this for my composition!

  • Lovely airy textures with great potential

I really, really liked the sound signature of this instrument, but unfortunately some minor issues won't let it shine. The main "Little Organ" patch sounds lovely, but has some very tiny noises inbetween the samples that may be hard to deal with, but they also add a little character to it. I also found the panning a little inconsistent, but that's not a big problem. When it comes to the "Airgan" patch, I really enjoyed the sound, but unfortunately the samples last very short and cut off immediately in two parts, so you will be better off if you don't really sustain the notes.

  • Like the first patch, not so much the second

The first patch "Airgan" I think is really cool. Its almost like a tonal breath you can add as a shimmery ambience to a track. I can definitely see myself using this. Im not really a fan of the main organ. Theres nothing wrong with it and it has a cool sound but its a bit cheesy for my taste. It would work well in a kids show but for my purposes i can't really see myself using this. Good job overall on the instrument and again, I really like the Airgan patch

  • Blown bottles and Calliope

This sample pack is interesting because I don't know that I would have picked it out as an organ had I not know the source of the sample library. I wold have guessed it was blown bottles or a calliope. There are a couple of weird noises in there you'll notice if you play long enough, but that only adds to the charm, I suppose.
