This is a stripped down version of the “Larry Seyer Upright Acoustic Bass” originally created for GigaSampler (which eventually became GigaStudio) in the mid 1990’s.
This port to the SFZ format is being released for free to the general public.

THE BASS: GUISEPPE DEL-SERRA
The Bass is a Classic Italian style 3/4 size Bass made in Pizza, Italy – 1817 by Guiseppe Del-Serra. The instrument is setup for jazz style play with “Dr. Thomastik Spirocore” orchestra gauge strings at a medium height of 3/8. The String length is 40 1⁄2″ The rounded back is somewhat exaggerated which adds great depth to the tone.
