The story

Simply put, I wanted to see if I could make a VST instrument.

In the beginning I messed up quite a bit including recording all my samples muted! But I finally got it working this morning. Theres not much to say about the story or inspiration, but I’m always recording knocks and sounds, so this was also a good trial to see if this could be a usable way of, well, using them.

It is a very simple instrument with 7 styles of knocking on my guitar across 24 keys (including semitones), there’s between 2 and 5 of each style (unmarked). The actual key is mostly around A# and B in octave 1, though there are some outliers.

The 7 Styles are:
-Knocks
-Soft Knocks
-Loud Knocks
-Sharp Knocks
-String Knocks
-Odd Knocks

Hope someone gets some use of it <3
