The story

Having been an Oboe player to a fairly high standard when I was younger but not having played it much in recent years I decided to dust off the case and make a DS instrument from it!

There are three playing style options – Sustain, Staccato and Legato, an ADSR, and controls for vibrato, delay and convolution reverbs.

Presets include a good legato setting and a couple of less usual sounds for an Oboe…

  • Truly decent

could not have come up with a better name for the library, it does what it says, the interface also suits the aesthetic pretty well

  • Decent!

I do love the sounds on the instrument, perfectly represent that dangerous feeling the oboe presents. My main problem is that certain notes on certain presets don’t work (For example: G sharp on the normal mode). Other than that this is pretty good!
