The story
Hi! I’m Lee, a solo creator of libraries for Kontakt and Decent Sampler. I release the libraries for free using the name “White Orchid Instruments”. I hope you like the instruments and enjoy using them.
The CR Seventy Eight is the first library I have made. It’s something I have always wanted to do but kept putting off because I thought it would be too difficult.
After becoming unemployed in early 2024 I decided to give it a shot. It took me a while to learn the basics of scripting while making this library. A lot of it was trial and error and I have to thank all the amazing people who posted scripts and Youtube videos to help everyone. It was a great learning experience.

From music history straight to your hardrive
The sounds of this drum machine can be heard in well-known songs from a wide variety of genres - these sounds have earned their place in music history!
Many people will already have one or two folders with samples on their harddisk that are titled CR78. Nevertheless, I recommend this download to everyone for several reasons: Firstly, not only are we offered cleanly recorded samples of this drum machine, but there is both a Kontakt and a Decent Sampler version of the sample instruments. The GUI is simple, clear and appealing. The sound manipulation options are well chosen, and many of the possibilities of the Kontakt version have been successfully transferred to the Decent sampler instrument!
If you want to add a little retro drum machine sound to your own songs, this sampler instrument is a good choice.
