The story
This instrument was born out of a desire to make a bass instrument that had the sustain qualities of synths and bowed instruments while being tonally separate.
I sampled by cheapy Samick P Bass copy through a few different pedals to give it a bit of growl without overdoing it, and ran all the samples through the preamp on my Aria MD-2080 mixer. Overloading the preamp on this gives any lowend a nice saturation without blowing it out.
The samples were then mapped in 4 round robins, looped and loaded into a Juno style interface for you all to enjoy, turn up the filter envelope and make some Bassface!
