The story

I grew up in Singapore, and my family has these bronze bells that were sitting on a cabinet for a decade…UNTIL…i finally FINALLY sampled them. They sound really nice.

Reviews for Ancient Bronze Bells

  • Frozen, dusty, serene

Transportive. An utterly faithful translation of the bells' organic qualities. Uncommonly mellow, especially with wool mallets, but high velocities reveal a metallic jangle -- do the bells have a clapper? There's room hiss, especially audible with chords, which I guess I'm supposed to say is a negative, but I love its dusty texture. Thank you for sharing these instruments!
