The story
I wanted to create a sampled instrument using the Decent Sampler but needed something simple to get started. After pondering for a while, I came up with a plastic water bottle as a flute. Hence the name “Plastic Water Bottle Flute”. Surprising enough, the default standing wave was really close to 440hz. Remembering how to get a sound out of the old pop bottles when I was a kid, I finally got a decent wave out of a discarded plastic water bottle from one of my hikes. There is very little processing of the original sound: some slight EQ and slight compression. Then to get the waved tuned to “A” and “E”, I used Melodyne for the tweaking. It sounds surprising, if not, it will make you smile…;)

solid and simple instrument.
could be a banger instrument for hiphop music.
i really like it.Awesome idea and execution!
For a 3MB instrument, this is mind-bending to me and my ears. The sound is very intricate with each note drifting to an atonal phase, which is something that you can't really reproduce with midi. Even if that was unintentional, I find it beautiful and unique.
Combined with the always-welcome options that are included in the simple and easily readable GUI, the instrument can transform from a dry flute to a big lush ethereal pad. And all that, for 3MB. I love it!
Inspiring sound
If I had to describe this pack in one word, I would choose inspirational. I am surprised that the audio content was achieved with a plastic bottle. I think I should put disposable objects to better use.
Going back to the pack, the GUI that the resource has is nice and simple. The amount of controls is adequate to get those deep and spacious touches. The only thing I would change is the position of the controls. I think these elements would be better centered. Other than that, it's a nice pack.
Unique sound with lots of possibilities.
The samples have a lot of character and can be quite interesting with the use of some filters. Simple GUI with four control knobs. The parameters for the controls seemed unusual for me, I just left them at their default settings.
Interesting samples to build unique sounds.
