The story

It was written. The fortune-tellers had talked about it over tea. It was bound to happen. The augurs were not wrong. It was our duty to offer an instrument of uncertain behaviour.
And so it was with no surprise, however feigned, that the Uncertain Machine was born. Soberly named WH.AT°, in reference to the lineage of instruments in the 4Mbience Collection, to predecessors such as BA.NG° and SK.LT°.

Once again, WH.AT° is an instrument born for experimentation. First for our own experimentation, and now for yours. This is not a light or promotional version.

WH.AT° is based on a complex sample, made with modular synthesizers and various esoteric gizmos. The controls are simple:
– an arpeggiator
– 4 knobs for adjusting uncertainty
– a delay deactivation switch
– 14 presets
