I’m thoroughly enjoying both Decent Sampler and the Pianobook community (many thanks to all those involved) and decided it was time I offered something back.
This pack is version 2.0 of my sample library of a Freshman acoustic, recorded both with a dynamic microphone, and via the guitar’s piezo pickup. There are also a few fingering-related noise samples to hopefully add a little more realism if required.
The latest version includes:
– a new interface
– bass cut control
– plectrum sounds control
– palm muting control
– a strumming engine based on Decent Sampler’s built-in note sequencer.
(You’ll need Decent Sampler v1.11.1 or higher to use the strumming engine, but everything else should work fine in earlier versions).

My Freshman acoustic, recorded both with an AKG dynamic mic near the soundhole, and via the guitar's inbuilt piezo pickup, into Reaper on Linux. The guitar was sampled with a single velocity layer and three round-robins.
